The author uses the Generative learning model in this study is expected to improve the learning outcomes of history class XI IPS students at SMA Negeri 2 Gedong Tataan. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 4 stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research uses a generative learning model in the history learning process. The subjects in this study were students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 2 Gedong Tataan, totaling 23 students. Based on the results of the research conducted, it shows that the percentage of student activity in learning history has increased by 78.1%, and cycle II is 84.3%. The percentage of student learning outcomes in history learning through tests has increased. In the pre-cycle the percentage of completeness was 21.73%, the first cycle was 39.13%, and the second cycle was 78.26%.
