Abstract

This research aims to determine the application of the Bamboo Dancing learning model with media images to improve students' history learning outcomes. The type of research used in this research is classroom action research. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 16 Bandar Lampung. The research subject was class X.4 which consisted of 35 students. The research was conducted in two cycles consisting of four competencies in each cycle, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. This research was conducted collaboratively between researchers and history teachers. Analysis of the data used includes presenting data, and drawing conclusions on indicators of success in this study if the activity and student learning outcomes reach 80%. After the research was carried out by applying the bamboo dancing learning model, the results showed that there had been an increase in the activity and results of studying history in the subject of Introduction to History. 1) In cycle I where the percentage of student activity was 48.57% then increased in cycle II by 85.71% and 2) the acquisition of student completeness in cycle I reached 48% then increased in cycle II to 85%. From these results it can be concluded that the use of the bamboo dancing learning model can increase the activity and learning outcomes of history material picture media for class X.4 students of SMA Negeri 16 Bandar Lampung in the 2023/2024 academic year
