UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SEJARAH MELALUI MEDIA ULAR TANGGA PADA SISWA KELAS X SMA NEGERI 8 BANDAR LAMPUNG TAHUN PELAJARAN 2022/2023

The problem in this classroom action research was motivated by the low historical value of class X 7 students at SMA Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung which was marked by the percentage of students who had not completed their KKM of 75. The cause of the low student learning outcomes was that they had not used learning media as an interesting and varied means that can build student enthusiasm in participating in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in learning outcomes of history using snakes and ladders media. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR), which consists of 2 cycles where each cycle meeting is held in three meetings. Research procedures include planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The subjects in this study were 34 class X 7 students at SMA Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung. Data collection techniques used are observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques, namely quantitative and qualitative data. The results showed that the learning activities of students in the first cycle, the percentage of student learning activities reached 57.14% and in the second cycle there was an increase of 89.28%. While the student learning outcomes in cycle I obtained a complete percentage of 38.41% with an average score of 64.11%. In cycle II there was a very significant increase in which the percentage of completeness was 82.35% with an average score of 78.91%. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the application of snakes and ladders media can increase the activity and results of learning history in class X 7 SMA Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung in the 2022/2023 academic year.
