Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in history learning outcomes using the Course Review Horay learning model in class X-9 students of SMA Negeri 10 Bandar Lampung. The type of research used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Learning was carried out for 2 cycles with 2 meetings each. The subjects of this study were 36 students in class X-9 of SMA Negeri 10 Bandar Lampung. Implementation in this study consisted of 4 stages namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques using observation, tests and documentation. Analysis of the data used includes the presentation of data, and drawing conclusions on indicators of success in this study if student learning outcomes reach (80%). After the research was carried out by applying the Course Review Horay learning model, the results showed that there had been an increase in learning outcomes for the material history of the Hindu-Buddhist kingdom namely (1) Teacher activity in the percentage of cycle I was 66% then increased in cycle II by 92.8%, 2) Student activity in the second cycle percentage was 65.5% then increased in the second cycle by 87.5% and 3) Student learning outcomes experienced a very good increase. In the pre-cycle, the percentage of learning completeness was 27.8%, then it increased in cycle I to 50% and it increased again in cycle II by obtaining a percentage of learning completeness to 83.3%. From these results it can be concluded that the use of the Course Review Horay learner model can improve the history learning outcomes of class X-9 students of SMA Negeri 10 Bandar Lampung for the 2022/2023 academic year.
