UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SEJARAH MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TEAM GAMES TOURNAMENT (TGT) MATERI PROKLAMASI KEMERDEKAAN INDONESIA PADA SISWA KELAS XI MM SEMESTER GENAP SMK YASMIDA AMBARAWA

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in history learning outcomes using the team games tournament (TGT) learning model in class XI MM students at SMK Yasmida Ambarawa. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out collaboratively. Learning was carried out for 2 cycles with 3 meetings each. The subjects of this study were 20 students of class XI MM at SMK Yasmida Ambarawa. Implementation in this study consisted of 4 stages namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Methods of data collection using written tests, observation sheets to observe teacher and student activities as well as documentation methods. The research results obtained were (1) Teacher activity while implementing the team games tournament (TGT) learning model during cycle I and cycle II experienced an increase where in cycle I it reached 65.83% and in cycle II it reached 89.17%. (2) Student activity after the implementation of the team games tournament (TGT) learning model during cycle I and cycle II experienced an increase where in cycle I it reached 60% and in cycle II it reached 87.5%. And (3) student learning outcomes after the implementation of the team games tournament (TGT) learning model experienced a very good increase. In the pre-cycle, the percentage of learning completeness was 50%, then it increased in cycle I by 65% and it increased again in cycle II by obtaining a percentage of learning completeness by 85%. From these results it can be concluded that the use of the team games tournament (TGT) learning model can improve learning outcomes of the history of the proclamation of Indonesian independence for class XI MM students at SMK Yasmida Ambarawa in 2022/2023.
