Abstract

The problems in this study are 1) the low learning outcomes of history 2) the inactivity of students in learning. 3) Saturated learning media. 4) Leaflet-based print media has never been used in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of leaflet-based print media on student learning outcomes in history subjects in class X Odd Semester SMK Trisakti Jaya Bandar Lampung.

The method used in this study is an experimental method, data analysis uses statistical formulas, the population in this study is all students of class X SMK Trisakti Jaya Bandar Lampung for the academic year 2021/2022. They are spread over 6 classes with a total of 141 students. From the population, 2 classes were taken as samples, namely Class X Office, which amounted to 30 students as the experimental class and X Online Business and Marketing, which amounted to 27 students as the control class by using cluster random sampling technique. To measure the learning variables, the writer uses a test, which is in the form of a multiple choice test of 40 items, which are tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used simple statistical analysis with t-test formula.

Based on the results of the hypothesis test of the similarity of the two averages, using thit the obtained value thit = 15.95 with the test criteria used is accept if  otherwise  rejected. By taking the 5% ( significance  level  >  so  that it is rejected and   accepted. Thus, "There is an effect of using leaflet-based print media on student learning outcomes in history subjects in class X Odd Semester SMK Trisakti Jaya Bandar Lampung Academic Year 2021/2022.
