Abstract

The problem that is the subject of this research is the low learning outcomes obtained by students. also the teacher has not maximized the use of technology for history subjects, students are easily bored with the monotonous learning process, students are less interested in history subjects, the learning process is still dominated by the teacher. The author uses the quipper school learning media in this study which is expected to improve the learning outcomes of history class XI IPS 4 students at SMA Negeri 1 Natar. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. The subjects in this study were students of class XI IPS 4 SMA Negeri 1 Natar, totaling 36 students. Action research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of three meetings. The instruments used in this study were student activity observation sheets, written tests and documentation. From the results of the study, in the first cycle of student learning completeness achieved as much as 69.44%, and the second cycle as much as 88.89%, the increase in the percentage of student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II reached 19.45%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that student learning outcomes in history subjects can be increased through the quipper school learning media in class XI IPS 4 students of SMA Negeri 1 Natar in the 2021/2022 academic year.
