PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING (CPS) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SEMESTER GENAP SMP NEGERI 31 BANDAR LAMPUNG

The method used in this research is the experimental method. The population in the study were all Grade VIII students in the even semester of SMP Negeri 31 Bandar Lampung for the 2022/2023 academic year, which were spread over 9 classes with a total of 279 students. From this population, two classes were taken as samples, namely class VIII A which consisted of 31 students as the control class and VIII B which consisted of 31 students as the experimental class. The sampling technique used is Cluster Random Sampling. Variable measurement uses a test in the form of a description of 5 questions which are tested for validity and reliability first. Data analysis uses simple statistical analysis with ttes formula. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using ttes, it is obtained thit = 5.74 and from the distribution table at a significant level of 5% with tdaf = t(1-α) = 1.67 so that it is known that ttes > tdaf or can be written 5.74 > 1.67 . Thus it can be concluded "there is an influence of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model on the ability to solve mathematical problems in Grade VIII students of Even Semester SMP Negeri 31 Bandar Lampung for the 2022/2023 academic year”.
