This research and development is based on mathematics teaching materials of grade VIII SMP Negeri 33 Bandar Lampung which have not fully facilitated students in solving mathematical problems. The teaching materials used do not provide opportunities for students to discover mathematical concepts independently. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model. The results of the module validation for the material obtained a value of 4.69, the media validation obtained a value of 4.53 and the language validation obtained a value of 4.46, all of which are "Valid" criteria. After using the developed Open Ended-based LKPD, the learning completeness through test trials of students reached 84%, which means that the developed LKPD was effective in facilitating mathematical problem solving abilities. These results state that the developed Open Ended-based mathematics LKPD for class VIII SMP is suitable for use as teaching material.
