PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN KOMIK MATEMATIKA BERBASIS PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER PADA MATERI SEGI EMPAT DAN SEGITIGA UNTUK KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 1 ATAP 4 PESAWARAN TAHUN PELAJARAN 2022/2023

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) produce a product in the form of character education-based mathematical comic learning media on rectangular and triangular material for class VII students and determine its feasibility in terms of media validity, (2) determine the effectiveness of character education-based mathematical comic learning media on rectangular and triangular material for class VII students in terms of the attractiveness and practicality of the media as well as student learning outcomes. This type of research is Research and Development research. In this development using the ADDIE model with research stages namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Mathematical comic learning media based on character education. Web validation is carried out by 3 expert lecturers who are competent in their fields. Then the comics were tested on class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Atap 4 Pesawaran and then the responses of educators and students were seen through a questionnaire. From the results of the material validation, a value of 4.2 was obtained with valid criteria. Media validation obtained a value of 4.67 with valid criteria. Language validation obtained a value of 4.6 with valid criteria. After using the comics developed, students' learning completeness can be categorized as good with the achievement of classical mastery of 81%, student responses in the practical category with a value of 4.49 and educator responses in the practical category with a value of 4.00. This the learning media for math comics on rectangular and triangular material for class VII is appropriate to be used as a learning medium.
