PENGEMBANGAN LKPD BERBASIS DISCOVERY LEARNING UNTUK MEMFASILITASI KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS SISWA KELAS VIII SEMESTER GENAP SMP BHAKTI BARADATU

This research and development is motivated by mathematics teaching materials in grade VIII of SMP Bhakti Baradatu which have not fully facilitated students’ mathematical problem-solving skills. In addition, the teaching materials used do not provide opportunities for students to discover mathematical concepts independently. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The results of LKPD validation for material experts obtained a value of 4.40, media validation obtained a value of 4.42 and language validation obtained a value of 4.31 all with the criteria "Valid". The results of the student response questionnaire obtained an average score of 4.14 with the criteria " Practical/Interesting", and the results of the teacher response questionnaire obtained an average score of 4.78 which means the LKPD criteria are "Practical/ Interesting". After using the LKPD-based Discovery Learning developed, completeness through student testing of mathematical problem solving skills reached classical completeness of 80%. The results stated that the Discovery Learning-based mathematics LKPD for grade VIII junior high school is suitable to be used as teaching material.
