PENGARUH MEDIA YOUTUBE TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 14 BANDAR LAMPUNG TAHUN PELAJARAN 2021/2022

The application of youtube media can be used as a learning media tool to maximize mathematical problem solving skills that can be applied in the classroom. This lack of understanding and mastery of this ability is the background of the research objective to determine the effect of youtube media on the mathematical problem solving abilities of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 14 Bandar Lampung in the 2021/2022 academic year. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The population used in this study were all grade VIII odd semester students of SMP Negeri 14 Bandar Lampung for the academic year 2021/2022. From the population, two classes were taken as samples, namely class VIII G, which consisted of 30 students as the control class and VIII F, which consisted of 31 students as the experimental class. After the results were tested for normality and homogeneity, the data analysis of the results of hypothesis testing using obtained and from the distribution table at a significant level of 1% with so that it was known or it could be written . Thus it can be concluded "There is a difference in the average mathematical problem solving ability between students who apply Youtube media and those who apply online learning commonly used by teachers in class VIII SMP Negeri 14 Bandar Lampung 2021/2022".
