Abstract

The low mathematics learning outcomes of students are partly due to the less than optimal use of learning models. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of students' mathematics learning outcomes using somatic, auditory, visual, intellectual (SAVI) learning models assisted by computer-based media in class VIII MTs Mathla'ul Anwar Seribu Pesawaran. This study used an experimental method with a population of all VIII grade students of MTs Mathla'ul Anwar Seribu Pesawaran. While the sample was taken 2 classes, namely class VIII A with a total of 30 students and class VIII B with a total of 30 students. Students' math learning outcomes are measured by tests in the form of essays as many as 8 questions which have first been tested for validity and reliability after normal and homogeneous data results. Hypothesis testing using the t test. From the results of hypothesis testing, the t-count value is 9.659. For t-table with the number of variables is 2 and the number of respondents 30 is 1.579. Because t-count ≥ t table, and the significance value <0.05, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is a significant difference from each independent variable. Thus there is an effect of somatic, auditory, visual, intellectual (SAVI) learning model assisted by computer-based media on the mathematics learning outcomes of 8th grade students of MTs Mathla'ul Anwar Seribu Pesawaran in the 2022/2023 academic year.
