PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS WEB TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH SISWA SMP NEGERI 1 PESAWARAN SEMESTER GANJIL TAHUN PELAJARAN 2021/2022

The problem in this study is related to the not yet optimal mathematical problem solving ability of students. Therefore, the purpose of the study was to analyze the difference in average mathematical problem solving abilities using a web-based learning model with those using the conventional model in class VIII odd semester students of SMP Negei 1 Pesawaran for the academic year 2021/2022. This research is an experimental research, as well as data analysis using parametric statistics in the form of t-test. The research population was all students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Pesawaran which consisted of 10 classes with a total of 316 students, while the sample was taken from 2 classes, namely class VIII C as the experimental class which amounted to 32 students, and class VIII D as the control class which amounted to 32 students. The sample was taken using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The students' mathematical problem solving ability was measured by a test in the form of an essay as many as 5 questions which had previously been tested for validity and reliability. From the results of hypothesis testing using the statistical formula t-test, the value of t = 3.10 was obtained. From the t distribution table at a significant level of 5%, it is known that t = t_((1-α)) = 1.67 means t > t which is 3.10> 1.68, so it can be concluded that "There is an influence of the Web-Based Learning model on the ability solving math problems for grade VIII odd semester students of SMP Negeri 1 Pesawaran for the academic year 2021/2022”. This situation can also be seen from the average value of students' mathematical problem solving abilities where the experimental class has an average value of 76.94 which is higher than the control class which has an average value of 69.69.
