PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN VISUALIZATION, AUDITORY, KINESTHETIC (VAK) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA

The problem studied in this study is that the students' mathematical problem solving ability is not maximal. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Visualization, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model on the mathematical problem solving abilities of class XI students in the even semester of SMA Tamansiswa Teluk Betung Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2020/2021. This study uses an experimental method with a population of all students of class XI MIPA SMA Tamansiswa Teluk Betung Bandar Lampung which consists of 2 classes with a total of 38 students. The sample was taken 2 classes, namely class XI MIPA 1 as the experimental class and class XI MIPA 2 as the control class. Mathematical problem solving ability is measured by a test in the form of an essay as many as five questions which are tested for validity and reliability. Hypothesis testing using t-test. From the results of hypothesis testing, the value of = 4.93. From the t distribution table at a significant level of 5%, it is known that = 1.70 means that > is 4.93 > 1.70, so there is an influence of the Visualization, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model on the mathematical problem solving ability of class XI semester students even SMAS Tamansiswa Teluk Betung Bandar Lampung for the 2020/2021 school year. This situation is also seen from the average value of students' mathematical problem solving abilities where the experimental class has an average value of 84.15 and the control class has an average value of 70.22.
