PENGARUH MODEL SOMATIC, AUDITORY, VISUALIZATION, INTELLECTUALLY (SAVI) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SEMESTER GENAP SMP NEGERI 1 BANYUMAS PRINGSEWU TAHUN PELAJARAN 2020/2021

This study aims to determine the effect Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, Intellectually (SAVI) model in the mathematical communication skills of class VIII students in the even semester of SMP Negeri 1 Banyumas Pringsewu in the 2020/2021 academic year. The Somatic, Auditory, Visualization,Intellectually (SAVI) learning model is a model that is quite fun and makes students’ low mathematical communications skills. This research is using experimental method. The population in this study werw all students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Banyumas Pringsewu, while the samples were taken as many as 2 classes, namely class VIII-A as the experimental class with 30 students, and class VIII-B as the control class with 30 students. The sample was taken using the Cluster Random Sampling technique with a lottery procedure. This technique is done because each class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Banyumas Pringsewu has a homogeneous or the same average. Students’ mathematical communication skills were measured by a test in the form of an essay with 6 questions. Researchers tested the hypothesis by using the t-test. From the results of hypothesis testing using statistical formulas, the value of thit = 7,14 . From the t distribution table at a significant level 5%, it is known tdaf = 1,67 meaning is 7,14 1,67. So it can be conclude that “there is an influence of the Somatic, Auditory, Visualizations, Intellectually (SAVI) model on the mathematical communication skills off class VIII atudents in the even semester of SMP Negeri 1 Banyumas Pringsewu academic year 2020/2021.
