PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN VISUALIZATION, AUDITORY, KINESTHETIC (VAK) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SEMESTER GANJIL UPT SMP NEGERI 9 BANDAR LAMPUNG TAHUN PELJARAN 2022/2023

This study aims to determine the effect of the Visualization, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model on the mathematical problem solving abilities of eighth grade students in the odd semester of UPT SMP Negeri 9 Bandar Lampung in the 2022/2023 academic year. Analysis of research data using parametric statistics. The population of this research was the students of class VIII UPT SMP Negeri 9 Bandar Lampung. The samples were taken in 2 classes, namely VIII C as the experimental class and VIII A as the control class which was taken using cluster random sampling technique. Mathematical problem solving ability is measured by an essay test with 5 questions. Hypothesis testing using t-test, with =6.35. At a significant level of 5%, =1.67 means which is 6.35>1.67. It was concluded "There is an effect of the Visualization, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model on the mathematical problem solving abilities of eighth grade students in the odd semester of UPT SMP Negeri 9 Bandar Lampung in the 2022/2023 academic year". This situation is seen from the average score of the experimental class students which is 86,26, which is greater than the control class which gets an average score of 71,21.
