PENGEMBANGAN MODUL MATEMATIKA BERBASIS OPEN ENDED PADA MATERI SISTEM PERSAMAAN LINEAR DUA VARIABEL KELAS VIII DI UPTD SMP NEGERI 3 BUKIT KEMUNING TAHUN PELAJARAN 2022/2023

This study aims to produce a quality Open Ended-based mathematics module in terms of validity, attractiveness, practicality and effectiveness. This study uses the ADDIE model research method. The validation of this mathematics module is carried out by 3 expert lecturers who are competent in their fields. After being validated, the module was piloted at UPTD SMP Negeri 3 Bukit Kemuning. The results of material validation obtained an average of 4,06 with "Valid" criteria, media validation by media experts obtained an average of 4.12 with "Valid" criteria, and language validation by linguists obtained an average of 4.30 with "Valid" criteria. Valid". After learning to use an Open Ended-based mathematics module, students' learning mastery can be categorized as "Good" with 78% classical mastery achieved. In addition, the results of student responses show that the Open Ended-based mathematics module is "Interesting" with an average of 4.05 and the teacher's response gets an average of 4.44 with the criteria of "Practical". Thus, it can be concluded that the Open Ended-based mathematics module on the material of a two-variable system of linear equations in class VIII is feasible to use.
