PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PRESENTASI POWER POINT WITH AUDIO EFFECT TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SEMESTER GANJIL MTS NEGERI 2 BANDAR LAMPUNG TAHUN PELAJARAN 2022/2023

Problem solving ability is one of the objectives of learning mathematics in the 2013 curriculum until the independent learning curriculum. The achievement of this ability is not directly proportional to the facts in class VIII of MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung in the 2022/2023 academic year. The low ability to solve mathematical problems is caused by the use of learning media that does not meet the learning needs of students. For this reason, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using Power Point with Audio Effect learning media on the mathematical problem solving abilities of eighth grade students of MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2022/2023. This study used an experimental method with a population of all eighth grade students in odd semesters at MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. Samples of 2 classes, namely class VIII E and VIII F were taken using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The students' mathematical problem solving ability is measured by a test in the form of an essay as many as 5 questions which have been tested for validity and reliability first. Hypothesis testing using t test, with the value of 4.09 and from the t distribution table at a significant level of 5% obtained 1.67, it mean that is 4.09 > 1.67, in this case it means the average mathematical problem solving ability of students who use media Power Point presentation learning with Audio Effect is greater than using conventional media. Thus, there is an influence of the Power Point with Audio Effect presentation learning media on the mathematical problem solving abilities of VIII grade students in odd semesters at MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung in the 2022/2023 academic year.
