Abstract

This study aims to: (1) develop a product in the form of LKPD based on Problem Based Learning (PBL), find out the right learning media using Problem Based Learning (PBL) for class VIII students on the flat-sided building material, and (2) improve results. learning mathematics for class VIII students by using LKPD based on Problem Based Learning (PBL). This type of research uses research and development methods with the ADDIE model. The stages in the research are analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. LKPD validation is carried out by 6 expert lecturers who are competent in their fields. Then the LKPD was tested on class VIII students of MTs Al-Utrujiyyah, and then the students responded through the response questionnaires given. The results of material validation on these aspects and aspects of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) assessment obtained a value of 4.58 with the "Valid" criteria. Validation of media experts on all aspects including media and media display aspects obtained a value of 4.29 with the "Valid" criteria. The validation of linguists on straightforward, communicative, dialogue and interactive indicators, according to the development of students, in accordance with language rules, and the use of terms, symbols or icons gets a score of 5 with the "Very Valid" criteria. After using the developed LKPD, students' learning mastery can be categorized as "High" with the achievement of classical mastery of 79%. In addition, the results of student responses showed that the LKPD product was "Attractive" with an average achievement of 4.76 and "Practical" according to the teacher's response with an average achievement of 4.71. It can be said that LKPD based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) on the material of building a flat side space for class VIII students is worthy of being used as teaching material.
