EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SAVI (SOMATIC, AUDITORY, VISUAL, INTELLECTUAL) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SEMESTER GENAP UEFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN MODEPT SMP NEGERI 35 BANDAR LAMPUNG TAHUN PELAJARAN 2021/2022

The study of the improvement of problem solving skill was conducted to find out the effectiveness of using SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) learning model towards students' math problem solving skill at the VIII grade in second semester at UPT SMP Negeri 35 Bandar Lampung in the academic year of 2021/2022. This research used experimental method with the total population was the whole of students’ in eighth grade. It was selected two classes as the sample namely VIII A as the experimental class and VIII E as the control class . The sample was taken by using Cluster random sampling technique with lottery procedure . The measurement of problem solving skill used essay test with 5 questions which had been tested the validity and the reliability. Research hypothesis test used t-test because the data were normal and homogeny with the thit = 4,54 and for significant level 5 % was obtained tdaf = 1,67 , it meant thit > tdaf so that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. It can be concluded that “The using of SAVI ( Somatic , Auditory , Visual , Intellectual ) learning model is effective towards students' math problem solving skill at the VIII grade in second semester at UPT SMP Negeri 35 Bandar Lampung in the academic year of 2021 /2022". It was confirmed by the average score of math problem solving skill in experimental class 74,81 was higher than the average score of control class 56,64 and the effectiveness test ES = 1,3 then ES > 0,8 meant it had high class effectiveness.
