One of the reasons for the low mathematical communication skills of students is the lack of optimal use of learning models. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Probing Prompting learning model on the mathematical communication skills of class XI science students in the even semester of State High School 14 Bandar Lampung in the 2021/2022 academic year. The method used is the experimental method with a population of all students in class XI science even semester, while the sample is taken from 2 classes using the Cluster Random Sampling technique, namely class XI science 1 and class XI science 2. Data collection uses a test technique in the form of essays with 6 questions. Hypothesis testing using t test. From the results of hypothesis testing, the value of ????????????????????=4.57 and from the t distribution table at a significant level of 5% obtained ????????????????????????=1.66 meaning ????????????????????> ???????????????????????? that is 4.57 > 1.66. Thus, there is an effect of the Probing Prompting learning model on the mathematical communication skills of class XI science students in the even semester of State High School 14 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2021/2022.
