PENGEMBANGAN LKPD BERBASIS PENDEKATAN OPEN ENDED PADA MATERI SEGI EMPAT DAN SEGITIGA KELAS VII SMP

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine and describe: (1) the feasibility of student worksheet based on Open Ended approach which is seen from from the aspect of content/material, and the effectiveness of teaching materials, (2) Student’s responses to the use of student worksheet based on the Open Ended approach for seventh grade junior high school students. This type of research is development research with stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. LKPD validation is carried out by 6 expert lecturers who are competent in their fields. Then the student worksheet was tested on seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. Furthermore, the students' responses were measured through a questionnaire. Through material validation, the average value for all aspects is 4.57 with valid criteria. Furthermore, the average value of aspects in media validation is 4.76 with valid criteria, and the validation of linguist obtains an average value for all aspects of 4.70 with valid criteria. After using the developed student worksheet, it shows an increase in student learning outcomes with the achievement of classical completeness by 50% to 73%. In addition, the results of student responses also stated that the student worksheet was interesting. Thus, the student worksheets based on the Open Ended approach for seventh grade are feasible and effective to be used as teaching materials.
