Abstract

This research is a classroom action research (CAR) which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects were students of class X AKL 1 SMK Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung for the academic year 2021/2022, totaling 36 students. Data collection was carried out by observing tests, learning outcomes and documentation. The research data analysis technique used a comparative descriptive technique. The results showed that the application of the Think Pair and Share learning model could improve student learning outcomes in class X AKL 1 SMK Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung which was proven by the results of research and observations of researchers showing the percentage of student activity increased from 62.22% in cycle I to 77.8 % in cycle ll. The percentage of learning outcomes also increased from 72.22% in cycle I to 86.11% in cycle II. So it can be explained that learning activities by applying Think Pair Share learning strategies can increase the activities and learning outcomes of accounting students in class X AKL 1 SMK Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung in the 2021/2022 academic year.
